The high-definition 17.8 cm LCD screen of the VMO 5020 V enables you to keep track of even complicated navigation manoeuvres without any difficulty. In addition to ensuring uniform brightness across the entire screen regardless of the angle of vision, the LED backlight also ensures excellent contrast for a fantastic movie experience when using the video playback function of the flexible multimedia DVD/CD player. A maximum output of 180 watts together with a 9-band equalizer guarantees outstanding audio accompaniment.
The touchscreen, which can be specially calibrated for optimum responsiveness, makes the operation of the on-screen display in German or English very easy indeed. To make sure that navigation is equally effortless and uncomplicated, the VMO 5020 V is equipped with the iGo Primo 2 3D high-definition navigation system and includes maps for 44 European countries. The 3D display of a large number of points of reference, buildings and landmarks provides a more realistic view of the surroundings, making navigation much easier.
Stable and reliable signal connection with the mobile phone is ensured by the Parrot Bluetooth hands-free unit with a separate microphone. Apart from practical features like the automatic return call function when the vehicle ignition is turned off, the new Parrot Bluetooth module can also be used to play back audio files from a smartphone via the car system. The VMO 5020 V does, of course, also accept MP3 files from a USB stick and is compatible with iPod and iPhone devices.
The Naviceiver is particularly convenient for using a rear view camera. The unit switches to the camera video input signal automatically to make complicated manoeuvring easier. The integrated CAN bus adapter reads, displays and manages all of the relevant vehicle data relating to the Climatronic system, parking sensors, lighting control and steering wheel controls.
